MapSource®
Aplikasi ini merupakan aplikasi yang diperuntukkan untuk anda pengguna GPS Garmin. Fitur-fitur yang ditampilkan cukup sedehana sehingga sangat memudahkan kita untuk melakukan import, export, transfer dan receive data dari GPS.
Aplikasi Mapsource juga bisa digunakan untuk konversi Longitudinal/Lattitude, UTM, dan lain-lain. selain itu juga sangat bermanfaat ketika Anda memliki koordinat dan ingin plot di dalam peta yang bisa Anda transfer ke GPS device anda.

Overview
MapSource is included with the purchase of a Garmin map on DVD or CD. With MapSource, you can:
- Back up important trip data separately from your Garmin device.
- Plan routes from the convenience of your computer instead of on your device.
- Create, view, and edit waypoints, routes, and tracks.
- Plan extensive or complicated routes, in which you travel to several locations in an order you specify.
- Transfer waypoints, routes and tracks between your computer and your device.
- Transfer selected map from your computer to your device.
- Find items, addresses and points of interest included in the map data.
- View your maps in detail on your computer screen.
Note: MapSource is computer software (Windows® only). It does not contain actual maps.
Compability
MapSource software only runs on Windows® operating systems. No Mac OS® versions are available at this time.
MapSource is compatible with all Garmin devices except the GPS 100 family of products (including GPS 100AVD, GPS 100MRN, GPS 100MIL and SRVY II) and Panel Mount Aviation devices. Not all Garmin devices are compatible with a data transfer feature. Consult your device’s manual. Garmin datacards and other data storage cards (such as SD™ cards) can transfer all MapSource data types. Note: Each time you transfer maps to a data card, you erase all data stored on the card and replace it with new data. However, transferring waypoints, routes or tracks will not erase the maps on the card.
